for the past nine months, we have been on a journey with cancer....the very definition of evil. cancer has consumed our every move, our every thought, the very direction of our lives.
yesterday morning, the journey ended. ed is now free of pain and suffering, passing peacefully at around 10 a.m.
it amazes me how very loud the quiet can be. one journey ended, another begun. my prayer in the coming days will be for peace and direction, strength needed to move my feet in the way they are meant to go, patience....and the ability and willingness to listen to my own heart and the hearts of others.
