as predicted, it has begun to rain here and it looks as if it's set in for a while. that's fine....i love the feeling of being all warm and wrapped up, despite the weather outside. there's a meat loaf and baked potatoes in the oven, enough yarn in my workroom to go 'round the world at least once, the makings for jewelry, quilt squares to be matched, fleece to be cut and blanket-stitched, books to be read....and that is all just fine....because that is exactly how i've chosen to spend my days recently. even though the weather has been unseasonably warm and sunny of late, it is still winter...and i like having "inside things" to do in winter. on the other hand......
i have a house to sell...and with it, a barn and just a little over 4 acres of land. i have put off selling for a while....the house isn't exactly in the best of shape and well....you know the deal with the housing market. but that aside, i think it is time. so today i spent some time there...at "the little house" as we call it. there really isn't much left to do before i can put a sign out front...and i am looking forward to that day. it is time to move forward, to let go, to have the option of doing some things i've always wanted to do....it's been good enough, that house has. i'm ready to let it go and get on with it...
