and now

And now.....it's April. Spring has almost fully arrived, the Earth is waking....in all her colorful flowered, noisy birds, green grass, yellow pollen on everything glory. Easter is coming. My kids and grandkids will be here. There will be chocolate bunnies for all and Easter egg hunts for the littles. There will be the big lunch after we all go to church. I love this time of year. It's as if the Earth has again decided to live...and it puts me in the same frame of mind...to live and flourish. To celebrate. To rise up and move on to new things. To let go of old, step forward and keep at it. Spring....Easter....times of new life.....new beginnings....resurrection past and present....a time of pressing on. As if now, fully awake and with a deep breath and a smile, we can say "Ok life. I can do this."
